(2011 Card #85) Hollyhock, Sky Blue & Orange

I love how Challenges take me outside my "box" of  "as usual colors, combinations & sketches". Here is a case in point...I would not think of combining Hollyhock pink, sky blue & orange together normally, but that's just what The Play Date Cafe asked us to do!  My focal image is from the stamp set  Hope Grows by Theresa Momber, found at GinaK Designs.  I painted the image with LuminArte powdered pigments mixed with gum arabic.
Distressed Labels 6 frame with Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink by Ranger.

  1. Lagene, I'm so happy you've come to play at The PLay Date Cafe! I love that paper with the damask designs, and it just happens to be the right colors for the challenge. How lucky is that??
