MFP Tutorial Time Ch #11 "Stamping & Coloring Vellum

This is week 11 on Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV.   This week's tutorial is "Stamping & Coloring on Vellum"

by Tammylee.  Click on the link above to see this week's challenge & wonderful samples by the Design Team.

For my card I used  the stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrichs Co. called Silly Shells
I used white vellum & framed it with the blue CS to hold it onto the page.  I love the way the color shows through the vellum & how the background DP has a muted look.
The blue CS is from the DCWV "Summer Dream" cardstock stack which has regular cs & blue, red, white & off white glittered sheets (only 1 each of the glittered)

So now it's your turn to try this technique for the chance to win this stampset pictured below:
 Challenges Entered:
TotallyPaperCrafts: Ch #120 - Frame It
STV12FRI23:   Birthday & multiples of a shape
ThePoodlesParlour:  Use Die Cuts
PaperCraftingJourney:  Anything Goes

  1. Like the way the colors of the shells pop wonderfully. Like the framing on this card. What kind of paper did you use for the framing? It looks shiny & blue. There's a challenge at Totally Papercrafts Ch120 Frame It that you can enter this wonderful card into.
I like to use vellum for calligraphy. Not thought to use heat gun to dry the stamped image which makes for it drying faster & no smudges when you turn it over. Not thought to turn it over to color. Will definitely give this a try.
