TTSTV: MFP Tutorial Time June 1, 2012

Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, and Speedy TV are starting a new feature today -- Tutorial Time with Speedy TV.  Each Friday a different member of the team will present a tutorial on a technique -- some of which you might know, some of which may be new to you.  The rest of the team will each make a card showing an example of this technique.
I am so excited to be a new DT member on this new Team at Speedy TV!
Our first Tutorial on Tutorial Time with Speedy TV is presented by Tammylee:  Coloring on Distress Ink and Alcohol Markers.

For my card I used:
Stamp Set:  Pussy Willows 2011 from MFP
Tim Holtz Distress Inks:  Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, Faded Jeans, Tumbled Glass, Versamark
Embossing Powderes & Copic Markers, Labels 8 Nestabilities Dies from Spellbinders

  1. Such wonderful colors! I just love the set you chose to show off the fab bg!!

  2. Such a beautiful card wit such rich colors. I love the stamp set you used!!! Hope to get to know each other while on the DT.

  3. Very pretty and the set you chose to showcase the technique is lovely!

  4. Very pretty indeed Lagene! I love the blues and purple, it reminds me of ice very cool effect :)

  5. Like the bird card. Especially like that you used a crumpled piece of paper for background as well. Tried the technique. Tried a couple Tim Holtz colors for background (Wild Honey & Broken China) each on different paper not together. Used Tiger stamp from Big Cats and my coloring with Prisma Color markers that my daughter gave me made the Tiger look too dark/scary. I know Tigers are wild but they are bee-utiful looking unlike my colored image. I'm thinking I may need an image with less detail or lighter color coloring. I have Oopsy Daisy and am going to give it a try.
