(2011 card#13) St. Patrick #1
Focal image from Mary Davis at Dover Publisher Free weekly samples. Printed and then painted it with LuminArte Powdered Pigments mixed with Gum Arabic.
Sentiment stamp from G Studio Clear stamps stamped with VersaMark & heat embossed with gold EP. Clovers from Joann's dollar isle.
Boarder punch is Arch Lattice form Martha Stewart.
This is for my grandson.
St. Patricks Day is alway a BIG deal for my grand kids . It seems those pesky Leprechaun always visit in the middle of the early morning on March 17 and turn over chairs, even couches to find the Big pot of gold, but they have holes in their own pockets and loose gold covered chocolate coins almost every year while they are snooping around! Much to the kid's delight!
Challenge:
Card Positioning Systems - CPS 201
Craft Your Days Away - anything goes
Creative Card Crew - for men / boys

(2011 card#9) Love
I entered this card in 2 Challenges:
At StampTV For the sketch challenge STVSKSP8.
At Lexi's Creations Challenge #31 For this week's Challenge we would like you to "Say it With Love"
Our Sponsor for this Challenge is the wonderful Letraset. So this week the prize is going to be some Promarkers for one lucky winner!
I used Labels 8 for frames, largest frame is designer paper from The C Thru Ruler Company. Stamped Martha Stewart's Flourishes on white cs & embossed with clear EP. Then put a heart template over stamped image (I cut the heart out of light cardboard with Fiskars cutting system for my template) Then I sponged ink inside heart shape, then wiped ink off embossing. Sponged lightly around rest of heart background. I made the ribbon heart by cutting a small heart from cardstock for the base. Then using same ribbon that is under focal image...I cut each end at an angle & glued the ends together , then folded out flat, this gave the bottom point...then I bunched, shapped, pinched, fought with it, glued it to the cs base....whew! then I adhered pearls down that center seam.

I LOVE OWLS!!! So Imagine my delight when I heard hooting just outside my front door one day around dusk(April 2010)!!! I opened the sliding door and one owl flew out of the oak tree right in front of me, but his or her Sweetheart stayed for about half an hour for a nice photo shoot and I took a bajillion pictures!! It was so dusky that I had to photoshop them a lot to get more light on the owl (owl was pretty dark at first) Isn't he or she BEAUTIFUL!!!!
