For the tone on tone on background I followed Gina K's Tutorial for using Impressabilities and Stenciling with Impressabilities used Spellbinders Impressabilities Fleur De Lis was first inked gently by daubing (they are very fragile & will bend if you try to rub ink on) with Versamark then on top of that I daubed ColorBox Canary then Ochre. I ran yellow paper with the Impressabilities (ink side down on the paper) through my Cuttlebug with an embossing pad. I then added clear EP & heat embossed. For the focal I also inked with the same Impressabilities without using the Versamark & no heat embossing on the same yellow paper, then cut out with Spellbinders Fleur De Lis dies.
The Iris is a digital from Doodle Pantry. I used the Crayon Resist technique from GinaK's StampTV site. I first layed down white crayon along some of the veins of the iris, then using a mask I sponged yellow ink all over the iris. Then wiped off the ink that the white crayon resisted. Then cut out using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Large. Then (leaving it in the die) sponged blue ink just around the edges of the die. Used corner punch from Emagination.
