Granddaughter's Celebration of your support!

Hey Texas StampTv Ladies who have been prayer Warriors for my granddaughter Minnie.....I will be in TX in Nov and Minnie is going to have a scrapping party to scrap the lovely cards she has received from many of you and many StampTV friends across the USA and Australia & Malaysia!  She wants to meet some of you ladies who sent cards and or prayed for her!

So the date & contact info is on this invitation made by her talented Mom!  We so hope you can come.... God has blessed this wonderful family through wonderful caring people like you!

She also wants to thank the many of you from StampTv & a multitude of others who have lifted her up in prayer over the last year through the biggest surgery of her young 9 year life!  UPDATE:  She has just finished a 6 week home IV antibiotic regime and is on followup oral regime. She has some new pain in a knee.  Overall she is doing amazingly well....God is good!  Praise to the Great Physician!

I know that Janice is over seas on her mission work and can't join us, but I hope to see the ones who met last year and hopefully more of my StampTv friends who have been praying for Minnie!

(2011 Card #100) Pheasant

Whewwwww this is my card # 100 this year....and I've got quite a few more birthdays and aniversaries to go yet this year!
At Stampin Sisters In Christ their verse this week is Mar 10:27 “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
I love looking at God's creation and see that He has control of the seasons and it reminds me that He is in Control and He is the provider of our strength and wisdom!  So this stamp makes me think of our Creator!
I Stamped & heat embossed the leaves from Autumn Glory 2011 from Marks Finest Papers.  Using a leaf "mask" I sponged the background with Ranger Distress inks: Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord.  Then using the hole of the mask I sponged the leaves with Spiced Marmalade & Dried Marigold.
I stamped the pheasant focal image from Autumn Glory 2011 with Memento Black ink, then colored with Copics markers: Y02, YR16, YR07, E21, E31, E37, & B29.  I "masked" the image & sponged Tumbled Glass & Faded Jeans & Dusty Concord around the image.

(2011 Card #98) Falling Leaves

Scripture:  Mark 10:27 “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”    The God of the universe is in control.  He created all things, He causes the changes of the seasons and He is our source of strength & wisdom. At Stampin Sisters In Christ their challenge this week is Anything goes.

For the background I stamped the leaf from Mark's Finest Papers  Autumn Glory 2011 stamp set using Versamark, then heat embossed with pearl saphire EP.  Then inked with Tumbled glass, then inked around edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink by Ranger.  For the fussy cut leaves, I stamped on white 140 lb paper by MFP with Versamark & heat embossed with black EP.
