(2011 Card #98) Falling Leaves


Scripture:  Mark 10:27 “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”    The God of the universe is in control.  He created all things, He causes the changes of the seasons and He is our source of strength & wisdom. At Stampin Sisters In Christ their challenge this week is Anything goes.

For the background I stamped the leaf from Mark's Finest Papers  Autumn Glory 2011 stamp set using Versamark, then heat embossed with pearl saphire EP.  Then inked with Tumbled glass, then inked around edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink by Ranger.  For the fussy cut leaves, I stamped on white 140 lb paper by MFP with Versamark & heat embossed with black EP. Then I sponged Fired Brick & Scattered straw ink to color the leaves.  Label is from Fanciful Labels by Cuttlebug. Sentiment is from Poppies Poppies Poppies 2011 by MFP.

    This is exquisite. I like how you did the leaves in the background and then pulled this altogether by embellishing with these beautifully colored leaves. It looks amazing. Thank you so much for playing along with Speedy the Cat's "No Designer Paper" Challenge this week. It is a delight to visit to see what you created for our viewing pleasure.
