This Sympathy card uses the Reverse Spotlighting technique. I used Friendship's Garden stamp set by Asela Hopkins found at GinaK Designs for the flower and the sentiment is from Spring Florals by GinaK at GinaK Designs. I used Labels 8 & Petite Oval Lg. dies by Spellbinders. The flower was stamped, then painted using powdered pigments by LuminArte mixed with gum arabic.
Challenges:
StampTV: STVFRIDB1- Reverse Spotlighting
StampinSistersInChrist: Ch #96 - Ps. 46:10 - CAS
LilyPad: Inspirational Challenge #3 - for inspiration I chose Barb King's entries #74 & #75 Hers has the sentiment as a Reverse Spotlight
This is wonderful Lagene.

Interesting, I had never heard of reverse spotlight, but this is a great technique on a lovely card. Thanks for joining us this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ.
ReplyDeleteSo cool! You worked that reverse spotlight perfectly, highlighting the pretty calla lily at its most magnificent place. :)
