TTSTV: MFP Tutorial Time June 1, 2012

Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, and Speedy TV are starting a new feature today -- Tutorial Time with Speedy TV.  Each Friday a different member of the team will present a tutorial on a technique -- some of which you might know, some of which may be new to you.  The rest of the team will each make a card showing an example of this technique.
   I am so excited to be a new DT member on this new Team at Speedy TV!
 Our first Tutorial on Tutorial Time with Speedy TV is presented by Tammylee:  Coloring on Distress Ink and Alcohol Markers.

I used camel for the base, lime green for the boarder which was punched with Fiskar's Threading Water.  I used Stamps from GinaK Designs: Hope Grows by Theresa Momber and Inside Out by GinaK.

I stamped the leaves with Tim Holtz Distress ink Shabby Shutters  & colored the flowers with Copic Markers.

(2012 Card #18) Parrots of a feather

Digital image by Doodle Pantry was printed on white 80# cardstock.  then colored with Copics.
Spellbinders dies:  Petite Ovals Large & the negative of Lacy Ovals for the inside of green oval.  The lacy green band is a recycled vegetable bag from the grocer.  I found this orange feather at a garage sale this last weekend.

(2012 Card #16) April Showers, May Flowers

Loved the sketch from WaltzingMouse. Spring showers (raindrops made with Ranger's Liquid Pearls (Baby Blue).  Digital dragonfly is freebie from Outlawz challenge (see link below). I colored with Copics then  covered with Versamark pen & heat embossed with clear EP.  Then I stamped rose from Melanie Muenchinger's A Year of Flowers stamp set found at GinaK Designs, with Versamark & heat embossed with clear EP.  Then I colored with Copic markers &  then covered entire rose with Versamark pen & again embossed the rose with clear EP.  Then I stamped the leaves with the same method.  I cut out with the Spellbinder's Labels 18 Nestabilities Dies and sponged blue die ink around the perimeter.
